The Council of Canadians is dedicated to fighting for grassroots democracy, social and environmental justice, and Canadian sovereignty. It’s a nation-wide organization, based in Ottawa, with offices in each region of the country, including one in Vancouver. In addition to its paid staff, the Council depends on a network of ‘chapters’, which are local groups of volunteer activists. This is the website of the Vancouver-Burnaby Chapter.
