On Feb. 12, 2010, Chapter members participated in the ‘Take Back Our City’ Rally, an event organized to draw attention to the ugly side of the Olympics: failure to live up to the social housing goals agreed on; displacement of marginalized people; over the top security measures and infringements of civil rights; corporatization of the games; socialization of the cost overruns; and greenwashing of the Olympics.
