In March, chapter activists worked with CUPE to put on a ‘Celebration of Public Water’ in East Vancouver’s Grandview Park. Supporters of public water feted the recent opening of the Seymour Water Filtration Plant as a completely public project, some years after a successful battle against proponents of a private project.
