What Can I Do About it?

  1. Talk with family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues about the need for a peaceful solution to the situation in Afghanistan.

  2. Write a letter to the editor of your local paper or post to your favourite blog calling on the government to stop military action in Afghanistan, and to instead pursue a negotiated peace settlement.

  3. Support political parties that call for an end to the military engagement in Afghanistan.

  4. Participate in rallies and demonstrations against the war.

  5. Join the local Council of Canadians chapter or another organization that is working for peace in Afghanistan.
